🚨🚨 GOOGLE ISSUES WARNING TO ANDROID USERS ‼️

GOOGLE Has Alerted Android Users To A Growing Cybersecurity Threat Involving Fake Mobile Networks Used To Send Malicious Text Messages. These Messages Can Bypass Normal Carrier Protections And Infect Smartphones Without The User Realizing It.

The Attackers Use Cell-Site Simulators  Also Called False Base Stations Or Stingrays To Trick Phones Into Connecting To Them. Once Connected, These Devices Can Intercept Signals And Send Fraudulent Or Harmful Messages Directly To Users’ Phones.

Unlike Legitimate Mobile Networks, These Fake Stations Completely Bypass Network-Level Spam And Fraud Filters, Making The Attacks Harder To Detect And Stop.

Google Notes That The Problem Is Worse On 2G Networks, Which Lack The Advanced Security And Encryption Features Of 3G, 4G, And 5G.

Users Are Strongly Advised To Disable 2G Connectivity In Their Phone Settings To Reduce The Risk Of Being Targeted By These Scams.
